Since 1951, the Egyptian Society of Cardiology (EgSC) has continued to advance scientifically and socially. We are proudly the oldest and largest medical society in Egypt, Africa and The Middle East.
The practice of Cardiology has revolutionized over the years. We as cardiologists, have managed to improve the quality of life for millions of patients all over the globe. Still, we have miles to go!
To prove our commitment, we have built the first ever “Egyptian Heart House” located in New Cairo. A dream that became a reality. We hope that our headquarter will be the center of knowledge and research that will lead this society to the knowledge and success needed to help our patients and communities.
EgSC has united to advance cardiovascular science and research, still our mission stays focused on helping more patients become healthier, happier and live longer prosperous lives.
We believe that the knowledge and comfort of our members and patients are our top responsibility. Powered with proper scientific knowledge, advanced practices and supported by science that’s based on high quality evidence; we shall achieve the mission that this society has committed itself to.

The Egyptian Society of Cardiology (EgSC) was founded in 1951 as a non-profit organization and now includes over 4000 members and 17 working groups. The annual meeting of the EgSC (CardioEgypt) is the largest cardiology congress in the region; held every February in Cairo. The EgSC also organizes regular scientific meetings of its active working groups.
With the members in the center of the Society’s vision, the EgSC strives to increase value for its membership. The EgSC invests in the young generations, offering them annual research grants and chances to attend international congresses and courses.
We will continue our endeavor in promoting the highest standard of cardiovascular care through education, training, and research, and enhancing the awareness of cardiovascular health in the community.
With our new venue and website, the reach out to our members and the networking among them are to be enhanced.
